More chicken scratch this week, and probably for the next few too. I think I erred last week in equating Gamma to the unisection of ND and Mn, since this produces the medium from the relands, but you can’t ignore the content either. A better guess may be G = syn(ND ; Mn) : diff(ND, Mn). Which does look a little bit like M: L <-> U if you take it as G: syn(ND ; Mn) <-> diff(ND, Mn).
