Newcomb’s Demon, Basic Acceptor

Newcomb’s Paradox is a paradox that seems to have heavily influenced Langan and the development of the CTMU. Langan’s explanation comes in several stages, the first of which I have coded here:

There is an overview of the paradox given in the comments at the top of the file. Langan’s overview in MP 1, “The Resolution To Newcomb’s Paradox”, is one of the easier papers and well worth the read. (It is by no means trivial though).
